Clerk's Seal

Privacy Policy for the Trial by Dial courtroom.

1. Evidence We Collect

To keep the docket in order, we collect your email address, courtroom name, votes, filed cases, and device fingerprint. We do not collect real names, addresses, or anything not entered into the record.

2. How the Clerk Uses It

Your information is used to authenticate jurors, tally verdicts, award reputation, and keep the courtroom running. We do not sell or rent the docket to third parties.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use cookies and browser storage to remember your session, theme preferences, and dismissed banners. You may clear these at any time, but you may be asked to sign in again.

4. Sharing the Record

Votes and cases are displayed publicly within the app. Leaderboards show your courtroom name and reputation score. We do not share your email or raw identifiers.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account and activity for as long as you remain a juror. You may request deletion at any time; upon confirmation, your record is struck from the active docket.

6. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your account and content through your profile. For anything beyond that, contact the bench and we will respond in a timely manner.

7. Security of the Courtroom

We take reasonable measures to protect the docket, but no system is impenetrable. Keep your password confidential and report any suspected breach to the bench.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be amended as the court evolves. Continued use of Trial by Dial after changes means you accept the revised rules.
